Raised in a lively, theatrical household in Oceanside, California Chelsea Elisabeth has found joy in utilizing movement as an alternative mode of communication from the time she was a child. At the age of five she began receiving training in jazz, hip hop, and modern dance at Oceanside Dance Academy. Laurel FanyaLaurel Fanya has a B.A. in dance and cultural studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and has had the privilege of studying at Germaine Acogny’s, L’Ecole de Sables in Senegal, and in Burkina Faso with Amadou Kienou’s Association Foteban, where she returned in 2008 to participate in the festival, Dialogues de Corps. She has worked on HIV/AIDS, agriculture, and dance related projects throughout South Africa, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Cuba, and the United States. |

Jasmine VassarJasmine Vassar aka Jazz, a transplant from Pasadena, Compassionately expresses herself through urban-interpretive dance styles. She also enjoys dancing with the Afro-Peruvian dance company,"Jarranon & Bochiche", and hopes to continue sharing her gifts with the Bay Area and the world. |

Alicia WatersAlicia Waters is a dancer, singer, and actor. She has performed at venues throughout the Bay Area most recently appearing in the Black Choreographers Festival, the Museum of the African Diaspora, Zellerbach Hall, CounterPULSE Theater, and Oracle Arena. She is currently performing with Alafia Dance Ensemble and Amara Tabor Smith's Deep Waters Dance Theater. |
